How do I enable Fire Ops and Sling Ops?

Open the EFB’s Options page and enable the Cargo Hook. This unlocks the Fire Ops and Sling Ops pages.

How do I attach and fill the firefighting bucket?

Land the helicopter and spawn the firefighting bucket from Fire Ops.
Take off and hover within the indicated attachment area.
Collect water from natural water or deploy the portable water base and follow the live altitude guidance.

Which control releases water or concrete?

Assign the simulator’s Toggle Spray control to a keyboard, joystick, throttle or controller button. The same control releases water from the firefighting bucket and concrete from the slip.

How does Miltech Mission Hub water release work?

With automatic release enabled, Mission Hub controls the drop. Disable automatic release to initiate the mission drop yourself with the assigned Toggle Spray control.

How do I load the concrete slip?

Enable the cargo hook and open Sling Ops.
Land and deploy the mixer truck and concrete slip.
Hover over the slip to attach it.
Position it over the mixer using the EFB’s horizontal and vertical guidance.

Which controls move the searchlight?

The searchlight can be operated from its EFB control panel. For hardware control, assign Landing Light Left, Right, Up, Down and Home in the simulator controls menu.

How do I use portable refuelling?

Deploy a water base or concrete mixer support vehicle, land within 10 metres of its fuel trailer and begin refuelling from the EFB. Fuel transfers at approximately 220 litres per minute and stops if the helicopter takes off or leaves the service area.

Can an external bucket be lost?

A filled bucket can be lost if the helicopter exceeds 80 knots. Empty buckets remain attached. After a loss, land the helicopter to spawn a replacement.
