LOIE for MSFS 2024 is officially released for PC and XBOX on the Marketplace. We are pleased to announce that this is a free update for all existing owners of the MSFS 2020 version.
This release is far more than a simple port. We’ve invested over 50 hours of dedicated development to ensure the scenery is fully optimized and enhanced to take advantage of the MSFS 2024 engine. New & Exclusive Features:
Fully Walkable Interior: Explore a detailed hangar environment on foot.
Proximity-Based Animation: Experience seamless immersion with automated hangar doors, entrance gates, and parking barriers that respond to your presence.
We are pleased to announce the release of HEMS Innsbruck. Using iniBuilds LOWI as the base, we took the opportunity to enhance the helicopter experience in this scenery package. With iniBuilds‘ agreement, we have increased the level of realism for rotor-wing pilots in the Innsbruck area. This release also marks a new milestone for us as our first for MSFS 2024.
This add-on enhances the HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Services) experience in the Innsbruck region and is designed for helicopter enthusiasts. It provides a highly detailed upgrade to the existing iniBuilds LOWI scenery, improving realism and operational immersion.
Features included:
LOIU – University Hospital Innsbruck:
Replacement of the landing pad with a new, high-detail, up-to-date landing area
Fully redesigned entrance and rooftop of the University Hospital Innsbruck
Addition of fully functional windsocks
Reworked and enhanced lighting
LOJO – Flugrettungszentrum West (OEAMTC):
Visual and structural enhancements through the addition and removal of objects to improve realism for helicopter operations
New landable trailers
New landing area with reworked lighting and windsock
LOJS – Falbeson Heliport (Stubaital):
Completely new heliport scenery
Full seasonal and day/night cycle support
Used for transport operations and mountain rescue missions
HEMS Innsbruck is now available on the MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 Marketplace.
With the switch to the latest state-of-the-art design tools, we have put a lot of effort into recreating the home base of “RK-2,” operated by ARA Flugrettung gGmbH. This rescue base is located on the grounds of the Bezirkskrankenhaus Reutte in Tyrol and has been in operation since 2006.
True to our standards, the heliport has been meticulously built as an exact-scale recreation of the RK-2 base and BKH Reutte. It offers full support for real-time day–night transitions and seasonal variation, delivering an immersive experience in all conditions. For seasoned pilots, the heli-trailer is configured for both landings and takeoffs, adding an extra layer of challenge and authenticity.
With MSFS 2024 Sim Update 4, we are now fully transitioning development to the MSFS 2024 platform. This means all future products will be released for MSFS 2024, and development for MSFS 2020 has ended.
Similarly, we are moving away from simMarket. All new products—including the LOIE rescue base—will be released exclusively on the Microsoft Marketplace going forward. Existing products on simMarket will remain available and will receive updates as needed.
